Philippe Van Bogaert
Professor, Ph.D., Engineer

Born 1951. Received his civil engineering degree and doctorate from Ghent University. Has worked with Belgian Railway Cy, Tucrail Ltd (Brussels) and the civil engineering Dept of Ghent University. Currently emeritus professor and working as independent counsellor. His main interests in bridge- and tunnel engineering are fatigue resistance of steel bridges, historic structures, arch stability stiffening of curved slender panels and design of precast tunnelling elements.
